Beret: Black, (used in Armored units) with insignia.
Helmet: British, Mk II type.
Boots: black ammo boots, British or Canadian with Anklets
Gear: British, P-37 type.
Basic P-37 gear assembly: main belt, bayonet and frog, water bottle, 2 basic ammo pouches, main braces, entrenching tool with carrier.
Option: to connect the ends of the main braces to the main belt in the front when Basic Pouches are not worn, use brace Attachments
Battle order: Basic gear + Small pack with “L” straps, Gas mask Mk.V or Mk.VI. (Gas mask was worn in 2nd Polish Corp very rarely) Helmet on.
Full marching order: Small pack attached to main belt. In Large pack with "L" straps: Great coat or jerk skin, under flap ground sheet or blanket. Helmet attached to main belt or under straps of Large pack. Beret on.
Backpack contains: Mess Tin, Utensils, Mug (attached outside on right backpack strap), blanket, rifle cleaning kit, personal hygiene kit, emergency food ration and spare ammo.
